Kansas City Airport and Hotel Information
What airport should I fly into?
Kansas City has one main airport, Kansas City International (MCI). It is located on the northwest section of town and is about 35 minutes from my house. From the airport take I-29 North to I-435
South. Continue on I-435 South to Midland Drive (for hotels) and to 87th Street for my house. It is the next exit south of Midland Dr.
When making flight reservations, around what time should I schedule my return flight?
The workshop is scheduled to end at 5pm. We recommend that you schedule your flight no earlier than 8pm if you must leave that
evening. We strongly recommend that you stay over that night to rest, relax, and give yourself time to integrate the intense clearing you have done. In addition, this allows you to enjoy the
celebration that usually takes place the evening that the workshop ends.
What about transportation to and from the airport?
You can take the KCI shuttle to the hotels below. I believe the Courtyard Marriott may offer shuttle service as well, but check with them when
making reservations.
Where do I stay?
I recommend staying on the southwest side of Kansas
City on the Kansas side right off I-435 and Midland Dr. The following hotels are located off I-435 and Midland. Both are just one exit away from my house. I live just south right off I-435
and 87th St.
Marriott Courtyard – very close to my house (about 3
minutes). This hotel is new. It offers a refrigerator in every room, hot breakfast buffet and free wireless internet access. Also has a heated indoor pool and whirlpool, fitness room and
on-site guest laundry.
